Summer Fancy Food Show 2024, June 23 to 25, at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York
The magic of New York, for the biggest trade event dedicated to specialty foods in North America, which many industry professionals consider the Olympics of food trade shows on a global level.
The stars of the show for many years, Italy’s excellent products, which will come to life in the traditional Italian Pavilion, once again the largest exhibition space in the entire show’s international area, with more than 300 companies present, 318 stands overall for a total of more than 3,000 sq.m (32,000 sq.ft).
An Italian Pavilion which, as always, will present the entire range of Made in Italy food and agriculture products under the umbrella of the distinctive banner, “The Extraordinary Italian Taste.”
There will be plenty of new items and attractions; the Italian companies will be in a dedicated area, with a strong visual impact created by a structure featuring colors and images of Italy recalling the quality of the products on display.
Show Cooking and a Wine Tasting station, organized by the companies at their stands, which will feature Italian chefs and sommeliers, preparing dishes, tastings and demonstrations of recipes from the great Italian tradition.
The 68th edition of the Summer Fancy Food in New York, under the banner of the great Made in Italy products, with a record 2023 for Italian food and agriculture products, which surpasses the record of product imports in the U.S., reaching 7.35 billion dollars.
The data from the first two months of 2024 confirm the positive trends with double-digit growth for all the main industry areas, including oil, pasta, cheeses, sauces and processed meats, and a marked increase also in wine. These numbers confirm the general appreciation of the quality of Italian products, which continue to remain a top consumer choice among Americans.
Producer of the event is the Specialty Food Association, along with Universal Marketing, exclusive agent for Italy of the SFA and organizer of the Italian Pavilion.
The Specialty Food Association is the largest food network in the United States, founded in 1952 in New York, by importers and entrepreneurs. It is a non-profit association with 3,000 members in the United States and abroad.
